Tecnico Football Academy is dedicated to helping young Australian footballers pursue and achieve their dreams at the highest level. We are committed to finding and implementing the most effective training methods, working alongside experienced professionals to ensure our players receive elite, modern development. The name “Tecnico” comes from the Spanish word for “technical” — inspired by Spain’s reputation for producing some of the world’s most technically gifted footballers. Having spent a full season of his youth career playing in Spain, founder Kosta Antonopoulos experienced firsthand the standards, detail, and culture required to develop complete players, and that philosophy now shapes everything we do at Tecnico.

We focus on refining technical ability and game intelligence, but just as importantly, we shape disciplined, confident, and resilient young people. To us, success means helping players reach the highest level their ability and dedication can take them in football — whether that’s senior football, elite pathways, or representing their country. But beyond the pitch, we develop the mindset, discipline, resilience, and work ethic required to achieve in any future venture, ensuring our players are prepared for success, not just for the game, but for life.
