Tecnico Football Academy’s Saturday Program is a weekly technical development program designed for young footballers who want to build confidence, control and a positive relationship with the ball.
OUR NUMBER 1 GOAL
At Tecnico Football Academy, our priority is simple: we want kids to love playing football.
We are dedicated to creating sessions that are fun, engaging and enjoyable, while helping every child develop their skills, confidence and love for the game. We believe that when young players enjoy coming to training, they become more confident, more involved and more motivated to improve.
Above everything else, we want every child to leave a Tecnico session excited to come back and play again.
PROGRAM DETAILS
Location: Trinity Grammar School, Kew
Day: Saturday mornings
Time: 9am-10am (If second session is required due to numbers 10am-11am)
Cost: $25 per session, per child
Kit: $70 One-time Tecnico training kit payment
Footwear: Indoor soccer boots or runners (flat sole sport shoes)
Sessions will run on Saturday mornings starting from the 17th of October (Free Trial Date) until the 5th of December 2026.
Final session times will be determined by registration numbers. Depending on enrolments, players may be divided into separate groups to ensure appropriate group sizes and a high-quality training environment.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
At Tecnico, we believe one of the most important parts of a young footballer’s development is their relationship with the ball.
That’s why our Saturday sessions are structured to maximise each individual player’s time in possession.
Our goal is for every player to accumulate at least 1,000 touches of the ball in every session, using carefully designed technical activities that keep players constantly involved.
More touches create more opportunities to learn, make mistakes, improve and ultimately become more confident with the ball at their feet.
WHAT PLAYERS WILL DEVELOP
Sessions focus on developing the technical foundations young players need to become confident footballers, including:

Our sessions combine high repetition with an enjoyable and engaging environment, helping players develop their skills while continuing to love playing football.
FREE TRIAL DAY —
SATURDAY 17 OCTOBER
We’re launching the program with a dedicated FREE Trial Day on Saturday, 17 October 2026.
The trial gives both players and parents the opportunity to experience the Tecnico Saturday Program before committing to the remainder of the program.
Players will take part in a full Tecnico session and experience our coaching philosophy, training environment and technical-focused approach.
Following the Free Trial Day, families who would like to continue can register for the paid Saturday Program.
WHY TECNICO?
We don't believe young players should spend their sessions standing in lines waiting for their turn.
Our approach prioritises individual involvement, repetition and time on the ball.
By creating an environment where players are constantly interacting with the football, we aim to build the technical foundations that allow young players to play with confidence, creativity and freedom.
